The Best Homemade Guacamole Recipe, Even Better Than Chipotle

Who doesn’t love some good guacamole? It has almost become a staple in our society. Songs have been written about it and Tik Tok girls have danced while eating Chipotle Guacamole. The obsession amongst Millenials is immense. Even I have had my fair share of guacamole cravings recently. I have found myself going to Chipotle almost three times a week to get their world-famous guac. And yes I had to pay extra. The bills started to rack up. I soon realized that my new obsession was way too expensive. So I thought to myself, how can I still satisfy my craving while saving money? It popped into my head. I was going to make better than Chipotle Guacamole at home.

Better Than Chipotle Guacamole:
Total Time 20 minutes/serves 3–8 hungry people
Ingredients:
2 ripe hass avocados
1/4 cup red onion (diced)
1/4 cup cilantro (washed and chopped)
1 jalapeno (chopped)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp lime juice
Note: Tomatoes can be added to this recipe. Also, garlic cloves can be used instead of garlic powder
Directions:
Cut the avocados in half, take out the pits, and remove the insides of the avocados. Save a pit for later.
Chop up the red onion and the cilantro. Then, throw the avocado, cilantro, and cilantro in the bowl.
With a potato masher. mash the ingredients in the bowl into a nice, creamy dip.
Add the chopped jalapenos into the mixture.
Next, add the fresh lime juice, garlic, black pepper, and salt into the bowl and mix.
Note: If there are leftovers, place the pit of the avocado in the guacamole. This will keep the guacamole fresh and tasty.
